On June 12 I’ll be taking the SC NYC band (a quartet with John, Philly, myself & guitarist David Weiss) to Brooklyn where we will rock the Beast Of Bourbon!

We’ll do 2 sets; at 10:oopm , our regular original “show” and then just after 11:00pm we’ll come back for another set of covers and special guests.

B.O.B. is an awesome Barbeque joint (the food is DEELISH!) so come early to eat then hang out for both sets.

And there’s NO COVER! That’s right – it’s FREE! Ya can’t beat that with a baseball bat…

And then on June 13 @ 5:20pm I’ll be playing Asbury Underground, a grass roots music and arts crawl encompassing the whole downtown area of Asbury Park, New Jersey which features live acoustic sets by local musicians in local art galleries, and promotional pricing at downtown retailers. I’ll be doing an acoustic/electric duo with David Weiss on “the other guitar…”

After 7 long years of being distributed by Universal Music – the “Steve Conte & The Crazy Truth” album has reverted back to me! (In layman’s terms that means there’s no label taking most of the money when my music is sold…a small % goes to my new distributor and the rest goes into my account so I can continue to put out new music…) So it’s official –  I am now RE-RELEASING it myself! If you never bought this album before, now’s the best time to do it. Come see me & my old pals The Quireboys on their “Unplugged In The USA” tour…it’ll be a reunion of sorts. We first met in 1989 when  Company Of Wolves –  the band I had with brother John & Kyf Brewer – and the Q’boys recorded our debut albums together at Cherokee Studios in Los Angeles. They sang on our song “Saint Jane’s Infirmary” – which we might just play this night as we have 3 of the 4 original Wolves in this band…
